Unprofessional Telephone Operators

I called at approx. 7:50am 1/24/02 to cancel my rides of 9:15am & 12:30pm for that day. After the usual LONG wait and having to repeat & spell my last name several times, the young man simply hung up. He never said, 'OK, it's taken care of' or 'Your rides are cancelled Ms Kearney, thank you for calling'. NOTHING Then my friend called me at 9:58am to ask me if I had cancelled my ride because the MATA-PLUS bus had just then pulled up out front. Even if I had still needed the ride, when I made the reservation, I told the girl that my doctor's appt. was at 10am. And the bus pulled up at 9:58am for a 9:15am pick up. Really people, you need to train your operators to be more professional on the phone, INFORM your drivers of cancellations, and get the damn bus to the pick up on time if the ride IS NEEDED.
