The MATA website had an on-line application for MATAplus but they have taken them off totally.
One explination is that MATAplus will have a new application and a new system-wide recertification this spring. MATA has often used this bungling Administrative method to deny riders eligibility. Rather than having you recertify when your current recertification ends, they ask everyone to recertify at the same time knowing that they do not have the resources to carry out the demand.
Most of the certified riders were cleared from the rolls this way between 1996 and 1998. Most felt they could depend on the system and did not reapply. Those that did will remember filling out a recertification form every year to keep riding MATAplus.
This is just speculation based on MATA's past behavior. It is also important to note that this was not reported to the FTA and MATA will not share this information with interested patrons.
